Founded 60 years ago by the late Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne who is often called ‘Sri Lanka’s Gandhi’ for the outsized influence he and Sarvodaya had on further peace, societal and economic development. We Build the Road, the Road Builds Us
GLOBAL ACADEMY supports Sarvodaya in collaboration with Natural Farming Global to explore how to integrate APCNF (Andhra Pradesh Community-managed Natural Farming) to improve outcomes. A pilot project in two villages. Further pilots are in planning.
GLOBAL ACADEMY also supports Sarvodaya in collaboration with EoL Global to explore how to generate whole system carbon credits for itself and its farmers so that their ecosystem contributions will be fairly compensated.
