Blended Finance
GA supports farmers, their organizations and related stakeholders to develop and implement concrete business and investment plans to access markets and blended finance. This includes public and private sector off-take agreements and fundraising from public and private sector investors.
Examples of Brazilian Market Access and Finance Projects
GA and NOW are co-creating market access and finance projects (below) with farmer organizations and other local and international business and finance partners. Similar projects are being developed in Africa.
Global Academy and NOW Joint Team Leadership
These projects are on the GA and NOW side led by teams around Daniel Povel, who until recently was for 18 years a co-leader of Europe’s leading sustainability bank and investment firm, where he developed hundreds of such projects, including Agroecology and Agroforestry.
